Alta Verzasca Bike

A technically straightforward trail with little ascent in the upper reaches of the Verzasca Valley. From Brione there’s some singletrack but it’s mostly on wide meadow trails all the way to Sonogno with its stone houses, typical of the region. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth it, then know this: The section along the Verzasca river is one of Ticino’s most beautiful stretches of trail. The clear, turquoise green waters have carved and shaped the rock. The ideal trail for beginners or as a more relaxed option for a rest day.
