Recommended for E-bikes due to the partly hard Uphills, which can be pedalled by the well trained. The circle arround the Poggio di Montieri takes place on old mining Trails, such as the “Riostorto” and the “Stima”. These trails were once used by miners and the old mine shafts and pits are still visible. After crossing the Pavone Trench, the ascent to ancient Roman quarries begins along the slopes of the "Cornate e Fosini Nature Reserve". Possible stay in the medieval village of Gerfalco and back via the “Canonica” trail.
